Shipping Time -- Most orders will within 3 business days, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by this site or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
We will ensure that your comics and other items are securely packaged so that they arrive to you in the condition advertised.  If you have special shipping instructions contact us via email.



We ship via USPS First Class and Priority.  If you have special shipping request please contact us prior to placing your order.  We do not ship via USPS Media Mail.  



Pre-Sale/Pre-Order products are products placed in advance of the products either official street release date or the date in which we will have the product available for sale.  


All pre-orders/pre-sales are paid in advance and may only be cancelled prior to the official in-store release date as specified by the individual manufacturer or distributor of the product.  Contact us if need to cancel your order.

Allocations and Shortages 

We will do our best to fulfill all pre-orders/pre-sales. However, the manufacturer or distributor may limit the amount of items we receive or may not ship the total quantity we have originally ordered.  In the event of an allocation or shortage we will fulfill orders by the date in which we received them.  If a pre-ordered product is not shipped to us at all, we will do our best to fulfill your order as quickly as possible.  If we cannot fulfill your order, we will issue a store credit or full refund for the unfulfilled items. 

Combined Orders

If you have placed a pre-order along with in-stock items, the order will not ship until all items are available.  If you wish to have the in-stock orders shipped separately you can either place a separate order or contact us and we will arrange for payment for the additional shipping charges.


Comic book grading is a process that involves subjectivity. At Ron's Comic Closet, we follow the guidelines provided by the Overstreet Guide to Grading comics and adhere to generally accepted standards. However, please note that we cannot guarantee a specific grade from a third-party grading company.

If you have any inquiries about the condition of a specific comic, please feel free to reach out to us. In the event of a disagreement regarding the condition of a comic book you ordered from us, we kindly request that you contact us for resolution. Please be aware that returns will not be accepted solely based on minor grading differences resulting from personal interpretation.


In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Ron's Comic Closet shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Ron's Comic Closet shall also have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Ron's Comic Closet will issue a refund to your card in the amount of the incorrect price.


All new comic books will be shipped in VF/NM condition.  We will always try to provide NM 9.2 or better copies.  Unless specified, all comics will be bagged and boarded.  


We strive to provide you with quality products, but if you receive an item that is defective or incorrect due to manufacturing or fulfillment mistakes, we are here to assist you. Please review the following guidelines regarding returns:

1. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items: If your item is damaged in transit, has a manufacturer defect, or is the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it. We will provide you with the necessary details for a replacement.

2. Personal Preferences and Accidental Orders: We understand that personal preferences may vary when it comes to comics, graphic novels, or books. However, please note that we cannot accept returns based on subjective factors such as storyline, art, or accidental orders of the wrong item. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit:

If your order is lost or damaged during transit, please inform us as soon as possible. We will take appropriate action, which may include crediting your account, issuing a refund, or reshipping all or part of your order.

In case of damage, please retain the packaging as we might need it for insurance purposes. It is essential to notify us of any damage within 48 hours of receipt.

Problem Reporting and Returns:

To report any problems with your order, please contact us via email within 48 hours of receipt. If a return is necessary, we will provide you with detailed instructions for the return process. Returns must be received by us within two weeks of the original delivery date.

Upon receiving the returned item(s), we will evaluate the situation and, at our discretion, offer you a refund, credit your account, or ship a replacement item. Basic ground postage will be refunded for any books returned due to our error.

To ensure a smooth processing of your return, please include a copy of the original invoice provided with your order. Returns without the original invoice copy may experience delays in processing.

Ratio Variants:  All pre-order ratio variants (1:10, 1:25 etc.) must be approved for purchase.  An email or message will be sent to either approving or disapproving the pre-order of any ratio variant.  If approved, the buyer must agree to the price for the ratio variant.  Ratio variant pre-orders cannot be cancelled.

Special Orders:  All special orders must be pre-approved and the price agreed upon prior to the order being placed by Ron's Comic Closet.

Final Order Cutoff (FOC):  All orders for new release comics must be placed by the FOC date in order to ensure reservation.  Subscriptions for a title placed after FOC will be fulfilled with the next issue of that title.   


The images for new comic books you see on our site are provided to us by the publishers/manufacturers at the time the item is solicited for sale, and they may not represent the final artwork released for the item. We strive to update our site with any revised images provided by the publisher/manufacturer. It's common for comic book cover art to undergo changes prior to release, so the final cover art may differ slightly or significantly. Furthermore, unless explicitly stated as a virgin variant or similar description, all comic book covers will include trade dress items such as the title, issue number, barcode, authors, artists' names, and other relevant information printed on them.
